Program Overview:

Garvey/Allen STEAM Academy is excited to offer Power Hour, our extended day program designed to provide a rich blend of academic support, creative enrichment, and social-emotional development for our Achievers. Power Hour is where learning contunines beyond the classroom, offering a structured, supportive environment that helps students thrive. 

Low School Program: This program is a part of our Lower School initiative, supporting research that shows extended day programs provide the best school experience to ensure our Achievers are supported in their most foundational grade levels. 

We will be offering enrichment programs after school this year.

Programs will incur a session fee to cover all materials, props, and snacks used. No additional costs will be incurred.

Program Dates:

• Start Date: Tuesday, September 3rd
• End Date: Thursday, June 6th
• Closed on: ALL school breaks and holidays

Program Hours: 

• Daily Start Time: Immediately after school dismissal 
• Kindergarten-5th: 3:00pm
• 6th-8th: 4:00 pm
• Pick up time: Gates will open for pickup at 5:30 pm
• Latest Pick Up: All Achievers MUST be signed out at the gate no later than 6:00 pm. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Program Fees:

• Non Refundable fee: $100 per Trimester 
• Includes: Materials, afterschool snacks, and care.
• Tiered Sibling Discount:
• First Child: $100 per Trimester 
• Second Child: $90
• Third Child and Beyond: $80 per Trimester
• Fee Waiver: The $100 per trimester payment is waived for all Kindergarten and First Grade Achievers.
• Mandatory Enrollment: Participation in Power Hour is mandatory for all Kindergarten and First Grade Achievers.

Payment Due Friday, August 30th (to begin on September 3rd)
